Senior Sales Engineer - Genset

Responsibilities
Write application notes and draft training materials for internal and external use
Serve as the primary contact for the Technical Sales Support group regarding application questions
Test products in their applications and interact directly with customers to address detailed questions
Provide marketing input to the Product Line Manager and draft marketing materials with the Marketing Communications group
Attend industry conferences, participate in industry societies, and conduct webinars and customer training seminars
Support sales by answering application and product-related questions, providing training, and communicating technical information for large or complex opportunities

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), professional experience, or equivalent technical experience.
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
Must have previous experience with Gensets
Experience as a sales engineer selling gensets that go on a generator from an application standpoint.
Preferred
Experience serving the Power Generation, Paralleling Switchgear, Utility T&D or Industrial Power Markets a plus.
Knowledge of power system simulation and coordination software
Interest in emerging power system technologies, including DC power, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and microgrids
