Responsibilities
Evaluate contractor-submitted schedules for accuracy, logic, and adherence to contractual requirements, providing detailed feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Identify and analyze schedule progress, resource productivity, and critical variances to mitigate risks and optimize opportunities.
Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA), develop fragnets, and evaluate the cost and schedule implications of project changes.
Review and analyze TIAs and REAs, documenting findings and supporting negotiations as needed.
Generate time-phased project cost and resource forecasts, update requirements, and produce detailed financial and status reports, including earned value metrics and cost/schedule trends.
Identify risks and opportunities within project and contractor schedules, integrating findings into overall project plans and recommending mitigation strategies.
Create, update, and analyze project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM) for complex, high-value projects or portfolios, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to gather updates, monitor project status, and ensure accurate scheduling data, including resource requirements, subcontractor commitments, and earned value metrics.
Confirm adherence to contractual obligations, internal controls, and federal regulations, ensuring the integrity of all project controls processes.
Present findings in formal meetings, facilitate discussions on schedule impacts, and align project goals with all stakeholders.

Required
7 years minimum of Project Controls experience
Intermediate to Expert level P6 user
Proficiency in both schedule and cost control
Intermediate to Expert level of Project Management knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; OR 10+ years of relevant project controls experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred
AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred, but not required.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required.
Experience supporting scheduling efforts for a federal entity.
