Responsibilities

Develop real-time software on Linux using C++ for naval simulation systems

Work on projects like CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer

Collaborate with a team to shape naval training systems and capabilities

Engage in all phases of the software development process using modern architectures and tools

Required

B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Interim Secret security clearance required for employment

8+ years of C++ software development

Strong Linux tools/library knowledge

Solid grasp of software engineering principles

Preferred

Advanced degree, continuing education in computer science, or advanced math/physics background

Experience in cluster computing, signal processing, Kubernetes, numerical simulation, multi-threading, GPUs, data visualization, underwater acoustic modeling, and sonar systems

Familiarity with Agile development, Atlassian products, and DevSecOps methods/tools (Gitlab, Conan, Jenkins, Docker)
