Responsibilities

Vital and non-vital processor programming.

Developing Control Lines and Route and Aspect Charts.

Developing and reviewing design plans and technical specifications.

Coordinating project designs with other disciplines and attending project meetings.

Reviewing shop drawings, recording changes, and communicating with suppliers, contractors, and client representatives.

Preparing construction estimates and engineering budgets.

Required

BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

6 years’ experience with designing Train Control Systems

Preferred

Professional Engineering license (MA, NY, PA)

15 years of experience of the design, construction, testing and commissioning of Train Control Systems and Equipment with an Engineering Firm, Transit Authority or Signaling Equipment Manufacture

Experience with train control systems for one or more of the following: commuter rail, subway, freight, light rail systems and street car systems

Experience managing/lead designer for signal projects from the conceptual design thru to final commissioning
