Responsibilities

Support cloud operations and automation in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Work independently with limited supervision and direction, serving as a resource for less experienced staff.

Use modern CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tooling.

Utilize containerization technologies like AWS ECS.

Demonstrate strong experience in at least one primary scripting language (Go, Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Work with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Communicate effectively and solve problems in a dynamic environment.

Create technical documentation including diagrams and written descriptions.

Adapt and learn new technologies such as cloud services and containers.

Apply Agile software development principles.

Manage projects effectively and solve complex problems.

Demonstrate initiative, innovative thinking, and the ability to analyze details.

Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required

Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

3+ years of experience supporting cloud operations and automation in AWS, Azure or GCP

Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction. Serves as a resource for less experienced staff.

US Citizenship is required.

Treasury level screening is required. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.

Preferred

Experience using modern CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tooling (e.g. Git, GitLab, Maven, Nexus, Fortify, Sonar, etc.)

Experience using containerization technologies like AWS ECS.

Strong experience in at least one primary scripting language (Go, Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment

Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professional attitude and demeanor

Working knowledge of AWS Cloud, Postgresql, and Java development.

Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies (e.g. cloud services, containers, etc.)

Demonstrated proficiency with Agile software development principles.

Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.

Excellent initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a big-picture view.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical contacts including executive audiences.
