Responsibilities
Design and implement data structures utilizing Snowflake features for scalability, security, and performance.
Optimize data pipelines and workflows for cost-efficiency and performance.
Develop ETL/ELT processes and integrate Snowflake with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem systems.
Implement robust data security measures, including role-based access control, encryption, and data masking.
Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake performance, ensuring query efficiency and system reliability.
Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake SQL and scripting languages (Python/Shell).
Configure and manage Snowflake Virtual Warehouses and perform advanced cloning capabilities.
Design and document data models, workflows, and system integrations.

Required
8+ years of experience in data modeling, integration, warehousing, and governance.
Expertise in Snowflake architecture and components (Databases, Procedures, Tasks, Streams).
Proven experience in managing Snowflake Virtual Warehouses and implementing RBAC.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake SSO and SCIM integrations for secure access.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell for task automation.
Advanced knowledge of data integration tools like Informatica and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Strong technical writing and diagramming skills (e.g., Visio, Erwin).
Experience in agile environments and using tools like JIRA.
Preferred
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake code deployment.
Prior experience in the healthcare industry, especially with HHS agencies.
Experience working with PII, PHI, HL7 data, or Azure platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
