Responsibilities

Design, implement, document, and maintain software for Harmonic MediaGrid and Spectrum Storage and other related research and development projects.

Analyze, debug and fix customer issues in a timely manner.

Assist in project planning, defining goals, tracking, and communicating status.

Assist in analyzing, improving, and executing improved processes for the team in the areas of development, testing, automation, documentation, and communication.

Required

B.S. or higher degree in computer science, electronics, or a related discipline

At least 5 years of embedded software development work experience

C/C++/OOPS development experience

Linux Operating System and Kernel

Multi-threaded programming, data structures, and algorithms

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Storage Systems, disks, and RAID subsystem

Experience with High Availability

Experience with real-time systems

Experience with IP networking

Experience with Linux Kernel
