Responsibilities

Design and build distributed, scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant software systems.

Building Compute Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) at OCI.

Manage a team of highly talented team comprised of full stack development and DevOps engineers.

Lead the entire software lifecycle - development, testing, CI and production operations - for one or more major tracks of the product or service.

Lead hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and managing performance of the development team.

Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like writing ops automation, structured logging, infrastructure qualification, instrumentation for metrics and events.

Participate in on-call for the service with the team.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
