Responsibilities
Designing, building and scaling our analytics pipeline to deliver fast, reliable insights that drive business and product decisions
Developing Clever's internal products and systems to improve employee productivity and deliver greater impact to customers
Managing Clever's data warehouse and optimizing for scale as we grow our user base and product surface area
Expanding and scaling our external analytics products to fulfill the analytics demands of external customers

Required
4+ years of experience as a software or data engineer
Experience with backend development is required
Experience building data pipelines, ingesting and transforming data with SQL is required
Experience with modern data tools especially dbt, Snowflake, and Spark
Experience with design and architecture of end-to-end systems to solve a variety of product and data needs
Experience with REST APIs and microservices
Led medium to large projects and collaborated with engineers and cross-team stakeholders to create meaningful impact
The drive to learn and teach through collaboration and code reviews
A desire to work in a diverse, highly collaborative team environment
Commitment to equity and belonging
Preferred
Experience with GoLang is useful but not required
Experience with data modeling for analytics use cases is helpful but not required
Experience with AWS services is a plus (e.g. AWS Lambda, Athena, S3, RDS, Dynamo, Kinesis, Glue)
