Designing and developing distributed edge services and monitoring.

Proactively monitor production services.

Respond to customer escalations and incidents.

Required

Expertise with Linux networking internals

Understanding of L2, L3 networking and routing protocols

Userspace networking

Complex nft and iptables rules

Writing code for massively parallelized distributed systems

Experience with various load balancing strategies -- and the knowledge to know which is best for different circumstances

Systems-level programming experience, especially in Go

BPF

Strong ability to debug issues in complex systems

Own solutions end-to-end and driving the design, development, and deployment process

Able to work across teams and level common, sustainable solutions

Creative, empathetic, open-minded, collaborative problem solver

Focus on clarity in written and verbal communication
