Responsibilities

Designing, building, and maintaining partner-facing solutions which follow our engineering principles:

Expose the ability to be measured and observed

Protect our customer, our business, and our partners and their data

Always do what the customer expects and upon failure, data is recoverable

Always available when and where the customer expects and which are healthy and current

Perform to, and exceed, customer expectations

Delight the customer

Contributing to the growth and success of team members through code review, clear documentation, and mentorship

Contributing to initiatives across the company to support the Partnerships program.

Accelerating the Partner integration experience through developer tooling, SDKs, and documentation

Working collaboratively to establish best practices, refine project requirements, and unblock yourself and others

Required

6+ years of experience in software engineering, partner engineering, or similar roles

Experience building developer platforms, helping define the strategy, and being collaborative with cross-functional teams

Experience designing and building API endpoints

Strong design and architecture skills

Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, technical design documentation)

Proficiency with Ruby/Rails

Experience with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and similar technologies

Preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desire to work with a layered application architecture

Enjoy owning and scoping high-visibility projects to keep us moving forward

Great attention to detail and quality

Love collaborating with a tight-knit team and across the organization

Care deeply and are opinionated about partnership programs, API design patterns, or the developer experience

Built a customer-facing API integration
