Responsibilities
Designing and developing software: Works on the core functionalities of CDK application(s), including features, data processing, and business logic
Databases: Designs, develops, and manages databases to store and organize application data efficiently
APIs (Application Programming Interfaces): Builds APIs that mediate communication between different parts of an application or even between applications
Server-side scripting: Writes code using various server-side scripting languages (i.e.: Python, Java, or Ruby) to execute instructions on the server
Security: Implements security measures to protect user data and ensures the overall integrity of the application
Performance optimization: Optimizes code and server processes to ensure the application runs smoothly and efficiently

Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5+ years of programming experience or 8+ years of progressive Java programming experience, with an emphasis on backend development
Programming and design experience to execute on a project independently
Experience with large scale systems along with exposure to E2E design
Proficient with test-driven development and web template technologies
Experience utilizing Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
Ability to document, track and monitor a problem/issue to a timely resolution
Knowledge of operating systems
Collaborative problem-solving ability and self-motivated
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with prioritization of duties
Preferred
Master's degree in related field with 6+ years of programming experience
Backend Development Technologies: Kafka, PostgreSQL, Java/Springboot
Experience with containerization technologies (i.e.: Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Enterprise Distributed Systems Cloud Native (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Relevant AI-powered inventory management experience
SaaS or Automotive Industry
