Responsibilities

Develop software for 'Digital Health' platform software for medical devices and product solutions within BMT.

Implement best-in-class coding practices to enhance workflow efficiency and contrast administration for diagnostic imaging and cardiovascular devices.

Participate in all stages of software development including requirements definition, design, development, usability, risk assessment, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Collaborate with principal software engineers and architects to define standardized interfaces between software sub-systems across the product portfolio at Bracco Medical Technologies.

Design and mentor UI/UX for various products including web and embedded applications.

Promote and establish best practices and standards within the software organization.

Research and assess software techniques and technologies to meet performance requirements for medical device applications.

Drive advanced technology development, prototyping, and validation to ensure technologies provide genuine clinical market value.

Responsible for delivering design inputs to design outputs, creating design requirements, bug fixes, test reports, and protocols.

Demonstrate problem-solving skills in the design and development of desktop, embedded, enterprise, or cloud solutions tailored to customer needs.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software development

Experience in full-stack platform software development

Proficiency in software development lifecycle activities including concept development, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and documentation

Experience in developing software for medical devices

Knowledge of regulated Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS)

Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Experience in UI/UX design and mentoring

Ability to define interfaces between software sub-systems

Experience in driving advanced technology development for medical devices

Strong problem-solving skills

Experience in developing desktop, embedded, enterprise, or cloud solutions
