Responsibilities

Develop large-scale web-based applications using object-oriented languages, primarily Java.

Support all commerce functionality of the App Store, iTunes Music Store, Apple Music, and more.

Work on adding new integrations, scaling current data flows, and re-imagining existing processes.

Implement large scale systems from inception to production deployment with a focus on performance.

Collaborate in cross-functional environments and question assumptions to deliver fantastic products and features to customers.

Required

BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience developing large-scale web-based applications using object-oriented languages

Understanding of relational databases and data-modeling techniques

Java engineer with experience implementing large scale systems

Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills

Phenomenal teammate with excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred

Cassandra or other NoSQL knowledge
