Responsibilities
Design and implement innovative, high availability, high volume event processing systems to ingest first-party data and drive forward-looking solutions to track user behavior with appropriate privacy, data quality and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the rate at which we can ship data collection features and help keep Attentive at the forefront of effective data collection in a rapidly evolving, privacy-focused landscape.
Negotiate with Product Management to meet the user’s needs without sacrificing quality or accruing tech debt.
Take proactive steps to protect against regressions through a variety of testing techniques.
Constantly improve the quality of the project you are working on, both via code contributions as well as long-term advocacy for larger-scale changes.
Build amazing consumer experiences, taking responsibility for code quality, scalability, reliability and performance.

Required
You have worked professionally with web technologies for 5+ years
You have development experience with either Java, Python or Go
You have development experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
You have experience architecting applications for high scale
You have a proven track record of building applications that maintain a high bar of quality
You understand how to negotiate with Product Management to meet the user’s needs without sacrificing quality or accruing tech debt
You deeply loathe regressions and take proactive steps to protect against them through a variety of testing techniques
You are constantly improving the quality of the project you are working on, both via code contributions as well as long-term advocacy for larger-scale changes
Build amazing consumer experiences, taking responsibility for code quality, scalability, reliability and performance
