Responsibilities

Build and ship new product features focused on AI and machine learning features end-to-end

Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve the product, enhance customer experience, and drive team performance.

Ability to write clear and well-defined design documentation

Mentor fellow engineers

Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS

Work on our Ember SPA front-end

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers

Participate in an Agile software development life cycle

Write well-designed, maintainable & testable code

Be product-minded and think about the customer

Work with JavaScript, Typescript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, etc.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software bugs

Contribute to open-source projects

Required

5+ years of experience developing web-based applications

Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, React, Vue, etc.)

Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript

Experience writing REST / JSON APIs

Experience writing software tests

Ability to solve technical problems independently

Motivation to work hard and always be learning

Preferred

Experience with Ember.JS

Experience working on SaaS web applications

Bonus: Docker or Kubernetes experience

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience collaborating with machine learning and AI teams, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the AI/ML space.

Passion for solving complex problems and building innovative, data-driven solutions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
