Responsibilities

Design and implement Internal Automation solutions to be utilized across multiple teams

Learn and understand state-of-the-art test tools and processes

Manage code quality across multiple teams through Pair programming and PR Review processes

Improve testing by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures

Recommend and plan Automation Strategies across multiple infrastructure teams

Contribute to multiple systems and promote reusable software patterns across multiple disciplines

Provide oversight over multiple domains

Provide leadership to test engineering guilds

Investigate problem areas, define and facilitate solutions

Build tools that help developers test

Required

8-12 years of related experience and industry certifications

Knowledge of Playwright, SQL, Postman, and K6

Understanding of CI/CD pipeline workflows

Experience with Component, End to End, and load automation solutions

Strong ownership and organizational skills

Able to work independently

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Able to mentor other automation engineers

Communicate test architectural standards and mentor other testers in their use

Experience presenting topics, ideas, and knowledge to larger groups

Contribute to increasing the knowledge across multiple teams and departments

Develop and communicate cross-team architectural solutions

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement on company wide applications

Experience testing client/server-based software and distributed systems

User interface testing experience

Experience with professional software testing and QA practices

Preferred

Post-graduate coursework may be desirable or substituted for some experience

Experience with Jira, TestRail, Wireshark, and Github Actions a plus

Experience working within an industry with compliance or regulatory requirements beneficial

Influence and update all phases of the software development lifecycle per SOC2 requirements
