Responsibilities

Lead the negotiation process as a “first chair” to close engagements with clients
Collaborate with the sales lead on relationship mapping and client alignment
Provide advice and strategies to secure client commitment to deal plans
Manage the deal-making process and finalize terms with clients
Advise pursuit teams on commercial models for complex deals
Oversee global priority deals and ensure adherence to negotiation methodology
Assist in implementing negotiation strategies at regional levels
Act as a key link between account teams and leadership
Collaborate with business development leaders on deal opportunities
Cascade negotiation methodology as a global best practice
Drive process consistency and synergies for negotiations
Build relationships with global and regional leadership for negotiation success
Leverage relationships to integrate negotiation methodology across deals
Ensure exceptional client service throughout the negotiation process

Preferred

12+ years’ experience of negotiation and contract drafting experience in commercial and legal terms with substantial experience in the technology services industry (managed services/BPO/system integration/consulting)
Approx. 7+ years of previous “first chair” negotiation experience (in either sales, legal or procurement) in the technology services industry
Completion of Miller Heiman methodology courses within 1-2 years of hire
