Responsibilities
10+ years of progressive, high reliability database operations experience
Minimum 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Servers, including roles as an SQL Database Administrator.
Plan and execute database migrations from SQL Server 2012/2016 to SQL Server 2020/2022.
Develop migration strategies, including pre-migration analysis, testing, and post-migration validation.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate migration tasks, backups, and system monitoring.
Document migration processes, DR test results, and performance improvement strategies.
Plan and calibrate downtimes required for migrations to minimize business impact.
