Assisting in budgeting activities
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Required
Proficient in all areas of QuickBooks, including the following functions: Accounts Receivable: invoicing, deposits.
Accounts Payable: bill entry, bill payment, and check functionality.
Bank/Checking Account Management and Reconciliations.
Credit Card Entry and Reconciliations.
Payroll: entering third-party payroll or QuickBooks Payroll.
Job Costing.
Reviewing Reports with assistance from the manager.
Must have skills in Microsoft Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks Desktop Products (2018 or earlier), and strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience Needed: 5+ years with bookkeeping.
Education Level: Minimum of 2 years at a community college with a focus on bookkeeping or accounting.
Remote/Hybrid: Some local travel will be required to meet with clients, with additional work done remotely from home.
Must be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Products as well as QuickBooks Online.
The job will entail the ability to correct QuickBooks errors from previous bookkeepers.
The desired candidate will understand the difference between cash and accrual accounting.
Preferred
A premium will be paid if the employee achieves QuickBooks Pro Advisor status while on the job.
