Responsibilities

Architect and Implement Solutions: Design, develop, and implement advanced solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL, while ensuring architectural integrity.

Technical Excellence in Code: Engage in regular design and code reviews, setting high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce architecture aligns with Fivetran’s technical and business goals. Collaborate assertively when technical challenges arise to maintain robust design standards.

Drive Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices across code reviews, deployment, and source control to maintain consistent quality and performance across projects.

Mentor and Guide Team: Act as a resource for the engineering team, fostering growth in technical skill and helping uphold technical standards, without formal people management responsibilities.

Advanced Problem Solving: Tackle complex, high-impact technical challenges, particularly around performance and scalability, while maintaining direct technical engagement.

Required

10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including deep knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

2nd Generation Managed Package experience is a plus.

Proven ability to engage in rigorous technical discussions with other teams and assertively advocate for sound, sustainable design.

Skilled in fostering technical growth, innovation, and a high standard of quality within the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Strong background in Salesforce integrations with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and IPaaS, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Commitment to upholding high-quality standards in coding practices, testing, and deployment, with a focus on comprehensive and maintainable solutions.

Required: Salesforce Developer I & II certifications.

Proficient in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices within Salesforce, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams, fostering alignment without compromising technical standards.
