Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strong technical relationships with hardware component suppliers and integration partners.

Implement and maintain quality control processes to guarantee the reliability and performance of computer hardware used in our cloud storage services.

Drive ongoing improvements in manufacturing processes, collaborating with integration partners to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize production.

Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components into the assembly and testing of cloud storage infrastructure by our integration partners.

Act as the initial point of contact for escalated technical issues with integration sites. Monitor and address day-to-day issues, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions to address root causes.

Create, update, and maintain all data and documentation required to build and test hardware intended for the cloud.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of relevant experience in supplier engineering or a related field, with a focus on computer hardware for cloud services.

Understanding of the data center environment.

In-depth knowledge of computer hardware components, manufacturing processes, and quality control methodologies.

Proven experience in working with and managing technical relationships with global suppliers.

Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful execution and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions with a 'can-do' attitude.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
