Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable and secure platform solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.

Implement and configure operational services such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure).

Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches to keep systems secure and up-to-date.

Implement and manage security measures to protect platform infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Analyze system performance and usage patterns to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks.

Optimize platform configurations to improve efficiency and reliability.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

Prepare and present reports on platform performance, security, and usage to management and stakeholders.

Respond to platform incidents and outages, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Develop and maintain incident response plans to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.

Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of platform systems.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff on platform-related issues.

Ensure platform operations comply with organizational policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Continuously evaluate and improve platform infrastructure to support business needs and technological advancements.

Manage relationships with platform service providers and vendors.

Evaluate and select platform products and services that meet organizational needs and budget constraints.
