Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance and coordination to meet client and project goals.
Resolves problems, procedures, and methods in collaboration with customers, TRC personnel, contractors, and suppliers.
Prepares and reviews project scopes and concepts.
Performs checking on projects for accuracy and completeness.
Serves as lead engineer on assigned projects.
Promotes efficient flow of information and ensures complete and accurate record-keeping.
Plans, organizes, estimates, schedules, and monitors work activities effectively.
Provides status and progress information to management.
Ensures effective technical support of department needs and requirements.
Represents the company and its clients on technical matters.
Assists in the professional development of other engineers.
Assists with internal training.
Assists field personnel during relay testing and commissioning, ensuring test results are acceptable.
Attends meetings, conferences, and conducts necessary research to stay informed of technical developments in the power industry.
Performs other department duties as required.

Required
Graduate of four year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
6 or more years of electrical engineering experience is required, experience in protection and control engineering and/or relay settings and studies preferred
Proficient in protective relay engineering theories and principles
Experience with short circuit modeling (ASPEN, CAPE, SKM etc)
Preferred
Registered as a Professional Engineer is preferred
