Responsibilities

Help prepare the US federal and state income income tax provision and audited financial statements for publicly-traded corporation.

Gather information and prepare workpapers for US income tax returns that are prepared by external advisors.

Utilize technology to support continuous improvement of our processes.

Conduct research on tax issues and prepare analysis and recommendations for the company.

Communicate with federal or state tax authorities to resolve tax matters.

Required

2-4+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or in-house corporate team

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

CPA or equivalent license

Understanding of ASC 740 and income tax accounting concepts

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including index/match and pivot tables) with an interest in process improvement and automation

Preferred

Master's degree in taxation

Experience with ERP software, tax provision and/or tax compliance software
