Responsibilities
Prepare income tax accruals under ASC 740 requirements
Prepare quarterly and annual federal and state income tax calculations and related filings
Prepare and review of required financial statement analytics
Manage federal and state tax examination and notice responses, including tracking, response research, coordination, and formulation
Document significant tax positions and prepare work-papers supporting tax filings and income tax accruals
Assist in the budgeting and preparation of tax related financial projections
Communicate and coordinate with other departments across the business and with external auditors and service providers
Ad hoc tax research and documentation
Special projects and other duties as assigned

Required

Prepare quarterly and annual federal and state income tax calculations and related filings
Prepare and review of required financial statement analytics

Document significant tax positions and prepare work-papers supporting tax filings and income tax accruals
Assist in the budgeting and preparation of tax related financial projections
Communicate and coordinate with other departments across the business and with external auditors and service providers
Ad hoc tax research and documentation
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Applicants must be authorized to work for a US employer without sponsorship
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree is desirable.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance, provision, preferably within a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.
Understanding of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Prior experience with tax audits and examinations, including audit support and communication with auditors, is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior tax professionals.
SAP and/or Corptax experience is a plus.
