Responsibilities
Interface with Evoqua North America’s legal, sales and finance functions to determine the accounting/financial implications of new customer contracts.
Review final executed customer agreements and document accounting conclusions in technical memorandum under ASC 606
Work with Evoqua’s Manager- Technical Accounting to develop and implement policies and procedures required to address new accounting guidance review/maintain Evoqua specific accounting policies.
Partner with Evoqua North America’s accounting and reporting team to provide guidance on complex transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, impairments, restructuring, litigation, etc.
Bring a process improvement mindset to the accounting function, including identifying opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes.
Support Corporate strategic initiatives including tax reorganizations and select treasury investment programs.
Partner with Evoqua North America’s Financial Planning and Analysis group to determine the accounting implications of proposed programs/transactions.
Work with Evoqua North America’s accounting group to support the monthly and quarterly close processes.
Interface with internal and external auditors in support of audit procedures
Perform special projects and analyses as assigned by the Evoqua Assistant Controller
Provide training on technical accounting topics to members of Evoqua North America’s finance and accounting teams.
Prepare and review data utilized in Xylem’s regulatory filings with the SEC including Form 10Qs and Form 10Ks

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business-related field.
CPA required.
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Public Accounting firm and/or Controller’s functions of a major international Company.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Computer skills necessary, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
Preferred
Knowledge of OneStream, SAP, CoStar, Visual Lease and Workiva a plus.
