Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects within the Technology Solutions department, from planning and scoping to execution, delivery, and post-launch support.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to collaborate on project requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance needs.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions, including software implementations, system integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Work closely with third-party vendors, internal IT teams, and business units to drive seamless integration of new technologies into the company's ecosystem.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring clear milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies are in place.

Ensure that all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, such as TRID, RESPA, and TILA, and maintain the highest standards of data security and compliance.

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues when necessary and driving solutions to keep projects on track.

Serve as the primary point of contact between IT Technology Solutions, Application Development team and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and status updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Utilize best practices in project management, including Agile methodologies, to ensure efficient and successful project delivery.

Continuously review and optimize project management processes, tools, and techniques to improve project efficiency and outcomes within the Technology Solutions team.

Analyze feedback and data to proactively recommend solutions to enhance user experience, functionality, and reliability.

Mentor and guide junior project managers within the team, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Required

have a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or at least eight years of technical project management experience, preferring at least 3 years managing technology-driven projects in the mortgage or financial services industry.

possess a strong technical background, with experience in IT system implementations, cloud-based solutions, and software development in the financial services sector.

are able to manage and deliver complex, cross-functional IT projects, on time and within budget.

have experience successfully managing and guiding cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

are able to work independently with minimal supervision.

have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and operational challenges.

able to adapt communication styles, modes, and requests to different audiences regularly.

are proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and collaboration platforms like MS Teams, SharePoint, or Slack.

possess a deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to apply the right approach based on project requirements.

Preferred

an in-depth understanding of mortgage lending processes, systems (such as Loan Origination Systems, CRM platforms), and regulatory requirements (e.g., TRID, RESPA, TILA).

experience managing large-scale technology solutions, including loan origination systems (LOS), digital lending platforms, and customer-facing applications in the mortgage sector.

certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or relevant experience leading agile rituals.

experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), CRMs (example, Salesforce), and cybersecurity practices within financial services.

experience as a product owner or heavily involved in the product design process.
