Responsibilities
Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure and application programs, from initiation through planning, execution, and closure. Establish program goals, define success metrics, and track progress to ensure objectives are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, IT operations, and leadership, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies, while coordinating across multiple teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed to avoid impact on project timelines.
Provide guidance on infrastructure and application best practices, assisting teams in designing scalable, secure, and robust systems. Evaluate new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Partner with engineering managers and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation for project success. Advocate for resources and ensure timely availability to meet project milestones.
Implement best practices for program management and process improvement to optimize project delivery and reduce bottlenecks.
Develop and deliver regular status reports, updates, and presentations to senior management, providing clear insights into project health, timelines, and any critical issues requiring escalation.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in program or project management within a technical environment, ideally involving both infrastructure and application projects
Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and a deep understanding of program management best practices
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (e.g., cloud services, networking, security, databases) and application development processes
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of leading projects to successful completion
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence)
Preferred
Master’s degree
Certification such as PMP or Scrum Master
