Responsibilities

Define and track success metrics for platform reliability.

Mine and analyze data from databases to continually learn about customer experience and drive platform reliability.

Prioritize the engineering roadmap in accordance with engineering resource allocation and drive against the commitments.

Partner closely with Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, and other Azure teams to improve reliability.

Lead a group of brilliant engineers on the execution of the product roadmap.

Required

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis or product development OR equivalent experience.

Experience with container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
