Responsibilities
Assume a leadership role in managing and advancing the technological infrastructure of our organization.
Oversee the implementation of new technologies, lead IT projects, and provide guidance and support to junior members of the technology team.
Ensure the reliability and security of our technology systems, optimizing system performance, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's technological capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the technology team, mentoring and coaching them to develop their skills and capabilities.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of technology systems, including data protection measures and disaster recovery plans.
Able to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and making recommendations for strategic investments in technology infrastructure.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their technology needs and priorities, and develop solutions to address them effectively.
Serve as a subject matter expert on technology-related issues, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.

Required
Bachelor's degree in education, business, healthcare administration, or related field, and at least 2 years of experience in a technology-related role, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility; or
Associates degree in education, business, healthcare administration, or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in a technology-related role, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility; or
in lieu of a degree at least 7 years of experience in a technology-related role, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
Preferred
Proven experience managing IT projects and leading teams to successful outcomes.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement long-term technology strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
Knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to implement measures to protect against security threats and vulnerabilities.
