Responsibilities
Develop equipment and tooling concepts to support manufacturing needs.
Participate in design reviews and create detailed drawings and models.
Research and apply robotics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
Create specifications, purchase requests, and usage instructions for equipment and tooling.
Ensure designs comply with safety, maintainability, and regulatory requirements.
Develop inspection procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and training materials.
Provide technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies.
Assess and recommend equipment and tooling dispositions.

Required
Must have US citizenship or Green Card.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment and tooling design, preferably in aerospace.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Works) and familiarity with PLM systems.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of robotics, automation, and emerging technologies in manufacturing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, ASME Y14).
