Responsibilities
Perform a variety of traffic engineering tasks, including traffic engineering design plans, safety studies, and traffic analyses
Support projects for all modes of travel including highway, bus, rail, bicycle and pedestrian in urban, suburban and rural environments
Complete studies and develop high quality traffic reports with limited direction and be able to clearly, professionally present that information to our clients on site and virtually
Prepare documentation and design plans for traffic control devices, including traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, temporary traffic control, illumination, and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS)
Prepare technical reports and presentations
Understand traffic engineering and operations
Possess excellent technical writing skills

Required
Seven (7)+ years of traffic engineering experience
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Related Studies
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in TX or ability to obtain one within 6 months
Experience with or a willingness to learn VISSIM, HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, AGI32, and SignCAD
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
Fundamentals of Engineering (Preferred)
