Responsibilities
Detailed design of new transmission line structures for new lattice towers, concrete poles, tubular steel poles, wood poles & H-frames.
Preparation and development of overhead and underground transmission line designs up to 500kV.
Understanding of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI standards.
Interpreting vendor information to provide design deliverables.
Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a transmission line design project.

Required
5-10 years utility transmission line design experience (15kV through to 500kV)
Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering with a structural knowledge also desirable
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship
Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining
Proficiency with PLS CADD, PLS POLE or PLS TOWER software
Experience with foundation design software (MFAD, PLS CAISSON, L-PILE, RISA)
