Responsibilities
Take ownership of establishing a new regional office to serve as a hub for expanding the company’s presence in the Northeast.
Design and analyze high-voltage transmission line systems (69kV to 500kV) to ensure reliability, compliance, and efficiency.
Perform line routing, structure design, and foundation analysis, utilizing PLS-CADD and other relevant software.
Prepare detailed engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site visits to provide technical support during construction and resolve design-related challenges.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and best practices, including NESC and IEEE guidelines.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
8+ years of experience in high-voltage transmission line engineering, including design and analysis
Proficiency with engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of NESC standards, utility practices, and permitting processes
Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively, with excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred
Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
EIT or PE license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure
