Responsibilities

Contribute to the artistic direction of the UI art style through concept exploration, creating 2D UI mockups based on existing wireframes or designs for game mechanics and features

Create 2D supporting graphics such as icons which communicate key information and help illustrate the game's interface

Support in the UX process by designing wireframes based on feature specifications from other departments like Combat and Game Design

Work independently to support and enhance the creative vision of the Game Director, Art Director, and UI/UX Lead, delivering clarity and visual quality within technological constraints

Advance the capabilities and efficiencies of UI design and implementation

Work with Production to set project level UI goals and schedule expectations

Collaborate and mentor individuals with less UI experience
