Responsibilities
Manages departmental initiatives and oversees Utility improvements.
Plans, directs, and completes complex design and construction projects.
Reviews, inspects, and coordinates construction contract document enforcement.
Prepares detailed construction plans, technical specifications, reports, and studies.
Assists with departmental management activities and provides staff supervision.
Collaborates with consultants and reviews department policy and equipment needs.
Prepares estimates, monitors project budgets, and analyzes engineering data.
Performs related work as required.

Required
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, or a related discipline, and six (6) years of progressively responsible engineering experience in all phases of engineering including analysis, drafting, surveying, design, and construction; or a combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Professional Engineer License
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
