Responsibilities

Collaborate between multiple cross-functional teams to solve complex interaction problems and develop elegantly designed solutions

Distill large-scale data into highly-usable visualizations/data management paradigms

Turn research into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity assets

Base design solutions on real user problems and support designs with logic

Recruit, run, and analyze user research, and assist other designers in their research projects

Develop and implement a User-Centered Design Process across the portfolio

Present design solutions, defend design decisions, and incorporate feedback into the design cycle

Drive usability initiatives in an Agile environment to improve user experiences

Organize work for easy access and understanding by the team

Design experiences that are visually appealing and user-friendly

Perform other duties as necessary

Required

BS/MS in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or equivalent experience

Expert knowledge of both user experience, user research, and user interface design

3+ years of professional experience as a UX designer

Experience in UX research working with internal or external stakeholders. This includes research planning, execution, analysis and recommendation generation

Successfully developed wireframes/mockups that were used to launch a product/feature

Mastery with tools like Figma, Axure, Invision, Sketch, Principle and similar

Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

A strong portfolio that showcases your work, provides detail of your role on projects and shows examples of functional designs that you have developed from requirements through design delivery

Familiar with current UX best practices and trends

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time

Some travel may be required

Able to work in a hybrid/onsite at HQ in Columbia MD, Boston or the Bay Area
