Responsibilities

Design and develop the user interface (UI) for a client website that allows users to securely log in and view the status of their payments requests

Hire, manage, and develop the web design team

Design Lo-Fi & Hi-Fi comps and prototypes for optimal user engagement

Conduct research and design thinking activities to understand customer and client needs

Develop Information Architecture, navigation, labeling, and search functions

Ensure consistency in design and adherence to brand guidelines

Gather and understand business requirements, legal impacts, and KPIs to deliver and measure success

Present design progress and gain stakeholder buy-in

Collaborate with Content Designers, Marketing, and Legal to ensure designs are compliant and consistent across various platforms and materials

Facilitate decision-making between business stakeholders and development teams

Create new design components and provide ongoing website support

Manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.

Ensure website accessibility and adherence to web standards. (i.e., ADA compliance)

Stay updated on the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
