Responsibilities
Define and create the visual and interactive design for groundbreaking learning experiences
Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the product development process
Understand and advocate for user needs
Define key metrics to track success and business impact
Maintain clear team alignment around goals and priorities
Approach an open-ended problem space with vigor and clarity
Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
Guide user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency
Be data-driven and iteratively improve the experience

Required
Must live in the United States
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship
Must be able to showcase work through case studies and/or an online portfolio
Bachelor's or master's degree in design and/or HCI related field
7+ years of product design experience with an online portfolio of relevant design work
Skilled in design at the detail and systems level
A confident communicator who can clearly articulate your process, approach, and rationale to others
Experience working in a collaborative team comprised of other designers, content strategists, product managers, and developers
Prior experience defining and implementing user research efforts
Awareness of design trends across web and mobile devices
Experience working with design systems
Experience working in an Agile, lean UX, and mobile-first
Understanding the relationship between visual, interaction, and content disciplines
Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred
Design for conversational interfaces
Experience with educational content
