Responsibilities
Serve as the Lead Hydraulic Engineer on projects, overseeing all technical aspects of water resources design, including river and bridge hydraulics, scour analysis, stream restoration, flood studies, drainage studies, storm and sanitary sewer modeling, stormwater management, and environmental permitting.
Work collaboratively on a range of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Manage and support project teams, offering guidance on hydrology and hydraulics aspects and assisting in project management tasks as needed.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and contributing to the development of the engineering team.
Assist with client management, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (BSCE) or Master’s degree (MSCE) in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years in water resources engineering, specifically related to hydrology, hydraulics, bridge and river hydraulics, stormwater management, and environmental permitting.
Proficiency with HECRAS, HYDROCAD, TR20, TR55, SWMM, HY8, STORMCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or Bentley MicroStation.
Preferred
Connecticut DOT certification as a Hydraulic Engineer.
Connecticut Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
