Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities
Independently create detailed designs of pump stations, collection/distribution systems as well as water/wastewater treatment plants.
Prepare drawings write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.
Serve as project manager or assist project managers throughout the design and construction phases of projects.
Perform other duties as needed.

Required
B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
10 years of experience preferred.
PE (or ability to obtain through reciprocity for Ohio and Kentucky)
Experience in evaluating, designing, and/or developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects is preferred.
Ideal candidate is self-motivated, an excellent communicator (written and verbal), attentive to detail, able to work independently and with a project team to the completion of a task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software is preferable.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred
M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience a plus.
Preference given to local candidates.
