Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement complex systems with high availability, performance, security, and cost in mind.
Drive change for the company's technical direction, including cloud solutions, CI/CD tools, and choice of programming languages.
Act as a multiplier by building systems, authoring tools, or introducing policies or patterns that raise the level of productivity of the entire organization.
Design and develop scalable, high availability, high-performance products with a deep understanding of front-end and back-end architectures.
Shape broad architecture and lead cross-team efforts and projects that span multiple domains and business units.
Play a key role in developing multi-year technology strategy and partner with product teams to actualize a more advanced product strategy informed by technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, serve as a role model and mentor to technical members of the team, and participate in special projects.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
10 years of software development experience in the development of commercial applications using modern software engineering principles and practices.
Experience with multiple technical domains and an understanding of how and why technologies are deployed and utilized at INDG.
A track record of building stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
A clear understanding of the relationship between complexity and cost and a record of successfully devising and implementing long-term strategies to lower it.
Demonstrated experience of cloud technologies i.e. AWS, Serverless, Event Driven Architecture, SOC, MicroServices, Microfrontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.
Demonstrated experience of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architecture/design patterns, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
