Responsibilities

Design, code, test, debug, and document web applications using modern web technologies.

Implement responsive and user-friendly designs that align with project requirements.

Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.

Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Provide estimates and timelines for development tasks.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure efficient team collaboration.

Guide and mentor junior developers to improve their technical skills.

Review code for accuracy, security, and adherence to best practices.

Diagnose and resolve bugs or performance issues.

Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing web applications.

Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends.

Recommend and implement best practices and tools to improve development processes.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in web application development.

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Java.

Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Expertise in back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, or .NET Core.

Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM tools.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Experience with web security practices (e.g., OWASP guidelines).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
