Senior Workers' Compensation Attorney

Responsibilities
Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings, demonstrating exceptional legal expertise.
Dive deep into legal matters, analyze complex issues, and strategize solutions.
Attend hearings, negotiate settlements, and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and other professional colleagues.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
Attend hearings, depositions, and other court-related events, representing clients under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
Assist in negotiating settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
Review medical records, evidence, and case files to support litigation and client claims.
Participate in initial client intake processes, gathering the necessary information for case evaluation.
Ensure all legal documents and processes comply with state and federal laws, particularly California workers' compensation and personal injury regulations.
Participate in ongoing legal training and professional development to stay current with legal trends and regulations.

Required
Needs Workers Comp experience. Minimum 5+ years experience
A Licensed Juris Doctor graduate
An active member of the California State Bar
Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy with a knack for analyzing and solving intricate legal challenges
A highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
Average Caseload 65-85 files
Preferred
A book of business is preferred but not required
