Responsibilities
Work both independently and as part of the Information Security team to enhance the department's information security program.
Focus on areas such as cloud and on-premises information security technology systems, information security operations, incident response, audits, policy, compliance, and reporting.
Support digital transformation efforts at DMHC by embracing new technologies and ensuring the confidentiality, security, and availability of department information resources.

Required
Experience with writing and/or updating policies/procedures.
Working knowledge and understanding of State and Federal regulation including: NIST 800-53 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), State Information Management Manual (SIMM), and/or State Administrative Manual (SAM).
Incident Response experience
Ability to meet critical deadlines with changing priorities.
Experience with Microsoft cloud applications such as Sentinel, Azure, and Defender.
Experience monitoring consumption of cloud resources, application performance, and systems security posture.
Knowledge of security hardening, network designs, implementation recommendations, and troubleshooting of cloud and on-premises architecture.
Experience and knowledge in the practices, principles, and techniques of information security.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of management and staff.
