Responsibilities

Demonstrates high-level fault-finding capabilities and high-level understanding of systems and controls to the point of being able to deliver high-level product instruction to customers and other employees.
Can perform fault finding at the electrical and mechanical level, can read and interpret complex electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Has the ability to create and develop control system diagrams.
Can be relied upon to train junior field service engineers in all aspects of site work.
Can be relied upon to provide in-house support for system testing.
Can be relied upon to provide a high level of TAG support identifying the correct product to meet the needs of the customer’s process.
Has the ability to install and commission standard controls, small systems, and actuation.

Required

Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Creative thinking, critical thinking, and ability to problem-solve.
Require 4-6 years experience in a relevant field, plus a recognized electrical or mechanical certificate from a Trade School or Military Training Institution.
Associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in an area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
