Responsibilities
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows, with expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure, SolarWinds) to support asset tracking, change management, incident management, and other processes.
Utilize ServiceNow integration capabilities, including REST, SOAP, and MID Server to build reliable and scalable integrations.
Work with APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) to integrate with various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
Collaborate with HMH's Cloud Platform Engineering team to integrate ServiceNow requests with Terraform and automate cloud resource management processes.
Design and implement custom integrations to send/receive data from internal and third-party systems (e.g., D&A tool, custom HMH applications) to build approvals and track information in ServiceNow.
Ensure ServiceNow CMDB is effectively integrated with cloud resources, monitoring tools, and asset management systems.
Work on the integration of GCP monitoring, especially for non-VMs, to ServiceNow for proactive incident management.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to integrations, workflows, and system configurations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to achieve project goals.

Required
Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including experience with ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow integration capabilities (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
Experience with third-party integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
Solid understanding of API design and development, including JSON, XML, and OAuth.
Experience with GCP resource integration and tying it into ServiceNow CMDB and SolarWinds for asset tracking.
Experience with D&A tools and integrating them with ServiceNow for approvals and tracking.
Familiarity with Terraform and integration of ServiceNow requests for cloud resource management.
Understanding of GCP monitoring integration, including non-VM assets.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Mandatory).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on integrations.
Proven experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
Experience in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow workflows and automations.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Preferred).
Understanding of ITIL best practices and their application in ServiceNow.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
