Responsibilities
Case Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of sexual abuse cases, from initial intake to case resolution. This position will regularly have challenging conversations that include sexual violence. An ability to manage vicarious trauma and practice self-care, with support from a supervisor is essential.
Claimant Support : Provide respectful, empathetic, trauma-informed support so that claimants feel heard and supported throughout the process. While this position supports claimants in the requirements for a mass tort case, general support beyond referrals is outside of the scope.
Evidence Gathering : Work with the Claimant and our internal teams to gather records, collect testimony, and complete court-mandated documentation as needed to strengthen compensation claims for victims and our law firm partners who represent them.
Documentation: Prepare detailed case summaries, reports, and other documentation required for legal proceedings.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal teams, our review & QC teams, and other stakeholders to build strong, evidence-based cases.
Technology Utilization: Utilize our proprietary in-house case management software and other technological tools to track case progress, manage documentation, and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
Compliance: Ensure all case management activities comply with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field.
Background in social services, victim advocacy, social services, or similar fields.
Experience and skills in working with trauma survivors with respect, dignity, and trauma-informed practices.
Maintain boundaries within the scope of the position and set and maintain expectations on requirements for complainants.
Understanding sexual violence dynamics.
Experience and ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally responsive services.
Proven experience in legal Case Management, preferably in mass tort or sexual abuse legal cases.
Strong understanding of legal processes and requirements for mass tort litigation.
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to prepare detailed, accurate, and compelling case documentation.
Experience with case management software and CRMs.
Resilient with strong self-care practices and the ability to handle emotionally challenging cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to claimant interaction.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred.
Fluency in the Spanish language is preferred but not required.
Certification in trauma-informed care or related training.
Experience working with survivors of sexual abuse.
Knowledge of current trends and developments in mass tort litigation.
