Responsibilities
Led the design, planning, and execution of the migration of our on-premises SharePoint environment to SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365.
Assess the current SharePoint environment, identify potential challenges and risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Define the target architecture for the cloud-based SharePoint environment, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
Develop and implement migration strategies, including content migration, customization migration, and user adoption strategies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the migrated environment meets their needs.
Work closely with IT infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure a smooth and seamless migration process.
Develop and maintain documentation related to the migration process, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and user guides.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on SharePoint architecture and migration best practices.
Stay up-to-date on the latest SharePoint technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to our SharePoint environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards, particularly within the Financial Services sector.
Contribute to the development of SharePoint governance policies and procedures.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a SharePoint Architect in large enterprise environments.
Proven experience in migrating on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365.
Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content types, metadata, workflows, and security.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and JavaScript.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Experience working in the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
Experience with relevant compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR) within Financial Services is a plus.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.
